It was an unexpected box office hits even if alot of the reviews weren’t kind, but this May Bad Neighours 2 is coming and in the first international trailer its parenthood Versus Sisterhood! With the old gang back and a bun in the oven what lies ahead? Girls aloud it’s the sisterhood!
Zac Efron, Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne all return once again as their story continues but what fraternity lies in their way? None but something worse…A Sorority!
Bad Neighbours 2 (or Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising in USA) sees Mac (Rogen) and Kelly (Byrne) attempting to live a ‘quiet life’ as they prepare for the arrival of their new baby. The pair where hopping to sell the house move out to the suburbs but as things where moving along nicely they get a new neighbour…shelby (Chloe Grace Moretz)! Banned from the local sorority for wanting to party too much soon she’s joined by few of her other exiles and they party hard, they party loud worrying Mac and Kelly. How can they defeat these girls? Help from their one time nemesis Teddy (Efron) as parenthood versus the bonds of sisterhood.
Depending how much you enjoyed or loathed Bad Neighbours will determined ‘Same Old Same Old’ in this posts title. The sequel is essentially looking like a repeat of the first film. Which is great if you loved it as the cheesy one-liners, sexual innuendos and even the old airbag joke is back. If you thought every juvenile prank was repulsive you might want to stay away from this one this time. Rarely do (comedy) sequels follow up with an stronger film but strange things do happen as this trailer suggests it has its moments. So the question is do you want a fun juvenile escapism for 90 minutes or act like a grown up maybe let your hair down for a couple of hours?
Bad Neighbours 2 is set for a May 6th UK release and will co-star Selena Gomez, Dave Franco, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Kiersey Clemons, Beanie Feldstein and Lisa Kudrow.
