LFF 2015 – Trumbo Press Conference

Trumbo_BFI2015

First full day 59th BFI London Film Festival kicked off today and our writer was in the heart of it and one of his first port of calls was Trumbo. After watching the movie today Ian attended the film’ press conference  as Cranston, Mirren, Goodman and Akinnuoye-Agbaje in attendance. Wait for around 26 minutes  3o seconds and hear Ian’s question been answered.

The successful career of 1940s screenwriter Dalton Trumbo (Bryan Cranston) comes to a crushing end when he and other Hollywood figures are blacklisted for their political beliefs. Trumbo (directed by Jay Roach) tells the story of his fight against the U.S. government and studio bosses in a war over words and freedom, which entangled everyone in Hollywood from Hedda Hopper (Helen Mirren) and John Wayne to Kirk Douglas and Otto Preminger.

Trumbo is set for a February 5th 2016 UK release. Film also stars Diane Lane, John Goodman, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Louis C.K., Alan Tudyk and Michael Stuhlbarg.
