The Cold War was one piece history that will be deep in the memories of those old enough to remember, In Bridge Of Spies New UK trailer the world’s fate is in Tom Hanks hands. Steven Spielberg’s Cold War thriller sees one man thrown into the lions den with future of the human’s race in his hands.

Bridge Of Spies tells the story of James Donovan (Tom Hanks), a Brooklyn insurance claims lawyer who finds himself thrust into the center of the Cold War when the CIA sends him on the near-impossible task to negotiate the release of a captured American U-2 pilot.

After last month’s American trailer we didn’t expect to wait so long for the UK version but now it’s here and what we get is a idea on how the narrative aspect of the film might be like. Full of style, power and a fine example of Spielberg’s versatility which at times seems to be forgotten about and we’re due a decent blockbuster from the director too. With today’s climate the world is becoming once again a fragile place to be in what better type of film to watch. Throw in an accomplished Oscar winning director and actor we have an exciting tense and potentiality award winning film on our hands this Autumn.

Bridge of Spies arrives in UK on 6th November (16th October USA) co-starring Mark Rylance, Amy Ryan, Sebastian Koch, and Alan Alda. Joel and Ethan Coen wrote the script the film which was originally based on a script by Matt Charman.
