Ahead of its release on Friday, we have been sent an abundance of new clips for Maggie, the latest summer film to star the former governor of California. However, Maggie is not the type of film you would expect when you hear Arnold Schwarzenegger is starring in a zombie film, and is certainly a far cry from his Terminator role, with first time British director Henry Hobson opting for a more dramatic and emotional response as opposed to all out action.
Synopsis – A teenage girl in the Midwest becomes infected by an outbreak of a disease that slowly turns the infected into cannibalistic zombies. During her transformation, her loving father stays by her side.
Maggie had it’s UK premiere at this years Edinburgh International Film Festival where our writer Andrew McArthur took a look at the film. You can read Andrew’s review here.
The film also stars Abigail Breslin and Joely Richardson, and is released in UK cinemas on 24th July.
