What could go wrong? When it’s the Griswolds anything can happen and if we go by the 4 National Lampoons that have come before everything does happen in new UK trailer for Vacation ItsLike A Kiss From A Rose!
30 plus years after Summer Vacation you would be mistaken this was the long overdue sequel but in a way it’s really a reboot this time Rusty Griswold is a man and it’s time for his family to experience his childhood chaos. He maybe all grown up now but Rusty Griswold is as dumb founded as he was when we met him as a young boy.
Following in his father’s footsteps and hoping for some much-needed family bonding, a grown-up Rusty Griswold (Ed Helms) surprises his wife, Debbie (Christina Applegate), and their two sons with a cross-country trip back to America’s “favorite family fun park,” Walley World.
If he’s not like a kiss from a rose Rusty is layeth the smackdown on a rival dad (Ron Livingston) and this new trailer may have footage from the first trailer but also has plenty new footage. That sewage scene just looks vintage Griswold/National Lampoon and is that the Mighty Thor?!Yes Chris Hemsworth stars as his sisters Audrey (Leslie Mann) new younger Husband who looks to be having a ball evening tries to tease Rusty’s wife too!
Depending on your views on old films/franchises getting rebooted and your fondness for the original vacation films may determine how much you’ll enjoy this. Helms looks perfect actor to play Rusty as is Applegate as his wife they both look to have a strong chemistry and could be the key to keeping this film together. This trailer may not fill up your swear box like the first trailer but it shows the green band version can just be as funny without the f-bombs.
Vacation arrives in UK&Ireland from 21st August co-starring Chevy Chase, Beverly D’Angelo, Keegan-Michael Key, Nick Kroll, Charlie Day, Regina Hall and Kaitlin Olson.
