As the Star Wars Celebration continues in California what better way ‘awaken’ us from our 6 month wait with a brand new 2 minute teaser and delivers a first look of an old familiar face…Han Solo!

It maybe a slow starter but this new one has a lot to offer most of all strength and a alot of intensity but most of all the perfect tonic to blast those fans wanting to banish the previous trilogy blues. That good amongst the new footage the imagery (or Easter eggs) full of nostalgia: The Darth Vader Mask, Millennium Falcon, Princess Leila taking a lightsaber? That shadowy figure is that Luke Skywalker? That robotic hand his? It does sound like Mark Hamill is narrating!

It’s not all about the old guard, there is a lot of focus also on the new characters and locations from the Dunes of Jakku, we see John Boyega run from explosion with droids on pursuit. Daisy Ridley running too and another look at Oscar Isaac but what they are chasing or been chased we’ll have to wait and see. There’s a lot going on here cinematography is wonderful, visually beautiful JJ Abrams is looking like he has potentially written a love letter to original franchise which saying to us this christmas take us to that Galaxy far, far, far away.

Star Wars:The Force Awakens arrives, 18th December 2015  to be precise starring Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher,Gwendoline Christie, Lupita Nyong’o Domhnall Gleeson, Andy Serkis, Peter Mayhew, Anthony Daniels, Kenny Baker, Warwick Davis and Max Von Sydow.
