Citadel’s Ciaran Foy is now behind the camera with Scott Derrickson now producing the film still seems to capture the spine chilling fears of the original film. It seems the emphasis on the children the evilness and probably largely thanks to the rural setting / Children of The Corn Vibe . Playing The Boogeyman as the silent monster feeding off the children and though we don’t see him alot you still sense his eerie presence, in the new film he does seem to be everywhere, but could that spoil the mythology? Here’s hoping this is not a lazy cash grabbing sequel though it all looks fun!
