Since it release onto streaming service Netflix a couple of weeks ago, Daredevil has been receiving nothing but positive reviews. The first Marvel and Netflix collaboration ahead of A.K.A. Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, and Luke Cage, which are all leading up to the teeming of the main characters in The Defenders. The good news for those who have already viewed the first season, is that this week Netflix has announced the unsurprising news that Daredevil will be coming back for a second season.
Although it has been live for a few weeks, Netflix is still releasing a steady stream of promotional material to hook anyone who hasn’t seen it yet. One such piece is this short featurette on Matt Murdoch’s (Charlie Cox) best friend, Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson). A character who provides some light comic relief in this very dark series, but who is not without conflict himself.
For those unfamiliar with Daredevil’s story, here is the official synopsis –
Blinded as a young boy but imbued with extraordinary senses, Matt Murdock fights against injustice by day as a lawyer, and by night as the Super Hero “Daredevil” in modern-day Hell’s Kitchen, New York City.
The fantastic series consisting of thirteen hour-long episodes is available exclusively on Netflix now and also stars Deborah Ann Woll, Vincent D’Onofrio, and Rosario Dawson.
