It’s been been a Oscar winning documentary and this Autumn Philippe Petit story will be coming back to a big screen near you with Robert Zemeckis The Walk. Sony Pictures have sent us a new international poster which Joseph Gordon-Levitt walks the wire which may induce vertigo, don’t look down just ahead.

In The Walk twelve people have walked on the moon, but only one man has ever, or will ever, walk in the immense void between the World Trade Center towers. Guided by his real-life mentor, Papa Rudy (Ben Kingsley), and aided by an unlikely band of international recruits, Petit and his gang overcome long odds, betrayals, dissension and countless close calls to conceive and execute their mad plan.

With this new poster we assume a new trailer will arrive ‘on-line’ shortly, until then you can watch the first trailer here.

So can Zemeckis rise to the height’s of James Marsh documentary? The Walk will arrive in UK, Ireland and USA on 2nd October 2015, the film co-stars James Badge Dale and Charlotte Le Bon.
