This May Moominmania will run wild as The Moomins & old friends leave Moomin Valley In search of adventures, the Moomins, Snorkmaiden and Little My set sail for the French Riviera. After a perilous journey, they reach their dream destination where Snorkmaiden is dazzled by the attentions of a playboy leaving Moomin consumed by jealousy. When Moominpappa befriends an aristocrat and adopts the name ‘de Moomin’, an exasperated Moominmamma retreats to the calm of their trusty old boat, to wait for her family to come to their senses and to remember their motto: “Live in peace, plant potatoes and dream.”
Trying to understand what the heck these little critters where all about, maybe as one relation who said you need a ‘few smokes’ to dig these guys, enough said! I was fortunate been a kid of the 1980s the Moomins where still been shown and them , BOD when I look back where weird WTF cartoons hence now they are cult shows.
Moomins On The Riviera will arrive in UK& Irish Cinemas on 22nd May and will star the voices of Russell Tovey, Nathaniel Parker, Tracy Ann Oberman and Ruth Gibson with Xavier Picard directing.
