This Autumn Drac’s Pack is back on our big screen when Hotel Transylvania 2 returns with the films first teaser trailer to make your day FANGtastic.
After been an unexpected surprise at the box office a few year’s back it returns for a second bite at the cherry which has Dracula attempting to be a grandad…
In Hotel Transylvania 2 Dracula (Adam Sandler) embraces the return of his little girl Mavis (Selena Gomez) who brings her little son half human- Half Vampire Dennis. But as Drac is so happy to see his new grandson he become’s very worried that the boy is showing more of his human side than Vampire one, he enrolls himself onto the ‘Monster in Training’ camp only to find a very familiar face there, his own Father Vlad (Mel Brook).
Gendy Tartakovsky returns as director a good move for this film as it was his visual style, humour that gave the first film some hope especially when Adam Sandler is involved. First film wasn’t perfect it had it’s problems but also had it’s moments too and earning enough worldwide for an sequel. Hotel Transylvania 2 still keeps the family relationship running but now Drac will be the child as his centuries old dad Vlad arrives. As expected chaos will pursue especially for the humans and Jonathan (Andy Samberg) as Vlad is a traditionalist. Legend that is Mel Brooks is voicing Vlad a perfect tonic for chaos be it in a humorous way.
I never saw the first film fully maybe down to it been my love/hate relationship with Sandler films, which will make it hard for me to be positive. So like a film like Hotel Transylvania 2 I leave the proper judgement on the film to the demographic audience the kids, if there happy I am too.
The film will arrive in UK on 9th October 2015 (September USA) starring the voices of Adam Sandler,Mel Brooks, Andy Samberg, Selena Gomez, Kevin James, Steve Buscemi and David Spade.
