Raw Passion Of Hip Hop Unleashed In Straight Outta Compton Trailer


Are you ready to witness the strength of the street knowledge as Hip-Hop’s most dangerous band NWA biopic has its first Red Band Trailer, Straight Outta Compton, boy!

I’m no expert or fan of NWA but you have to lived in another planet to know when these boys arrived volcanoes erupted in the music industry. You could say they where inspired ‘gangsta rap’, all the members Ice Cube, Easy-E and Dr.Dre,  all successfully had solo careers and now based around their iconic song there story is coming to the big screen.

Straight Outta Compton takes us back to the 1980s when five young men from the notorious inner city part of Los Angeles, Compton their meteoric rise in the business to their downfall.

West Coast Hip-hop  took the genre into mainstream music making the likes of Snoop Dogg, Ice-T worldwide household names, introducing us to ‘Parental Advisory’ ,  scantily dressed girls. This film has been on the go since 2009 and now a trailer (nearly 4 minutes long), looks an nostalgic ride for fans of the band.

Straight Outta Compton will arrive in UK cinemas with an attitude on 14th August starring O’Shea Jackson Jr.(Ice-cubes son), Corey Hawkins,Jason Mitchell , Paul Giamatti , Aldis Hodge.

In the mid-1980s, the streets of Compton, California, were some of the most dangerous in the country. When five young men translated their experiences growing up into brutally honest music that rebelled against abusive authority, they gave an explosive voice to a silenced generation. Following the meteoric rise and fall of N.W.A., Straight Outta Compton tells the astonishing story of how these youngsters revolutionized music and pop culture forever the moment they told the world the truth about life in the hood and ignited a cultural war.
