Johnny Five Is Go! Sorry Chappie Is Go In New UK Trailer

He’s alive but he’s not Johnny Five (Short Circuit) but in the new UK trailer for Chappie he could be as we get an insight into new footage which delivers plenty of action and emotion plus Hugh Jackman‘s mullet.

I am consciousness, I am alive, I am Chappie,” the evolution is beginning as Neill Blomkamp‘s latest sci-fi film sees us return to familiar territory Jo-berg, an Alien is now a robot.

If your looking for action, the new trailer does deliver but you could say it’s also melodramatic but as for the comedy element we’ve still to see the evidence. Despite that one negative having Hugh Jackman playing one hell of a S.O.B instead of Mr Nice Guy makes things a little more interesting. Having a film based around a robot is  tricky sub-genre to tackle, there is elements of Robocop, I Robot, even Pinocchio , so hopefully Blomkamp is keeping the best bits for the big screen.

Chappie will arrive in UK on 6th March 2015 co-starring Dev Patel, Sigourney Weaver, Ninja andYo-Landi Vi$$er, Jose Pablo Cantillo

Every child comes into the world full of promise, and none more so than Chappie: he is gifted, special, a prodigy. Like any child, Chappie will come under the influence of his surroundings – some good, some bad – and he will rely on his heart and soul to find his way in the world and become his own man. But there’s one thing that makes Chappie different from anyone else: he is a robot. The first robot with the ability to think and feel for himself. His life, his story, will change the way the world looks at robots and humans forever.
