It may only be a puppy but never annoy Keanu Reeves if anything be afraid of him, don’t set him off just watch the official UK trailer for John Wick, a hitman with a vendetta!

Late summer 2014 we heard all about the buzz of the film from it’s North American promotion  now its time for UK& Irish promotion and are we eager to see Reeves go badass hell yeah! He maybe a trained assassin but even  they have a conscience  but do they care about animals more than their common man or woman?

John Wick is an action packed thriller starring Reeves as the titular character whose given up the gun opting for seclusion with only for a dog for company after the death of his wife. But when his new mustang car catches the attention of some local gangsters  who want his car killing his puppy but unfortunately for them forcing John pick up the tools of his trade and setting him off on vengeance.

Box Office wise John Wick was an success Stateside mixed reviews critically but we don’t care as this looks like a fun flick to leave your brain at home pick up your favourite munchies and enjoy.  It’s certainly violent but also funny in the absurdist way, which is no mean feat when balancing things. Don’t go  expecting serious drama (unlike Jlo’s The Boy Next Door) this is high octane thriller which there to entertain, unwind but not to win awards.

It’s been a while since we’ve ween Keanu Reeves in film that looks like he enjoyed making, will the action thriller do what it did for Liam Neeson? Reeves has been their done that but we’ll find out if the old magic has returned for him when John Wick arrives in UK, Ireland 10th April. The film co-stars Adrianne Palicki, Willem Dafoe, Bridget Moynahan, Ian McShane, (hello to) Jason Isaacs, Alfie Allen, Lance Reddick, John Leguizamo and Michael Nyqvist.
