On an evening when ‘The Force Awakens’ as Star Wars Episode 7 receives it’s official title there is one epic film’s saga which will conclude, next month to be exact and The Hobbit: The Battle Of The Fives Armies latest trailer has arrived.
It’s been a long road for Peter Jackson, not as smooth as the Lord Of The Rings Trilogy but we’re sure a nostalgic one going back to Middle Earth a decade later. One thing Peter Jackson is not scared of is delivering epic scenes and this what probably be the final The Hobbit:The Battle of The Five Armies trailer, he will deliver that promise throwing Bilbo and our Dwarf heroes right into the face of death.
The Hobbit: The Battle Of The Fives Armies continues the journey of Bilbo (Martin Freeman)continues to help Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage) in his quest to reclaim Erebor, The Lonely Mountain the dragon Smaug. Thorin becomes blinded by his plight to regain Erebor, an unseen enemy rises, Sauron who sends the Orcs to Erebor, but will men, Elves and Dwarves unite or face death?
Will this be ‘defining chapter’ for The Hobbit, at this stage we’ll say yes but the world’s you oyster and never say to The Silmarillion finding it’s way onto the big, at this stage it wont be Peter Jackson directing. The new trailer delivers some action packed battle scenes that tease us with suggestions that Dwarves, Man and Elf may stay united to conquer Sauron’s forces.
The Hobbit: The Battle Of The Fives Armies arrives in UK on 12th December 2014 starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Orlando Bloom, Lee Pace, Evangeline Lilly, Aidan Turner, James Nesbitt, Luke Evans, Ken Stott, Ian Mckellan, Cate Blanchett, Christopher Lee and Billy Connolly.
