Good grief! It’s hard to imagine that Charlie Brown and his beloved dog Snoopy have never had a cinematic outing until now. Based on a comic strip written by Charles M. Schultz in 1950, Peanuts has had a lot of success with its television specials, but next year we will finally get to see the whole gang on the big screen.
From the trailer we can see that the visuals retain the original, distinctive, comic book style of Schultz, but places the characters in a more detailed and complex world.
Even though Charles M. Schultz passed away in 2006, his son Craig, and grandson Bryan have taken creative control of the film, ensuring that his legacy will continue and they will keep the spirit of Peanuts alive.
The Peanuts Movie is released everywhere on November 6th, 2015.
