It’s been 10 years in the making it remains to be seen if Sin City: A Dame To Kill For still has an audience maybe more noir sexiness might do the trick in a new second shorter Trailer.
The assembled cast are all present, the aesthetic green screen delivering the black and white is there to deliver that visual qaulities we expect from Sin City, so will there be an audience, hell yes!
Sin City:A Dame To Kill For weaves together two of Frank Miller’s graphic novels Booze, Broads & Bullets with Long Bad Night and The Fat Loss. Josh Brolin stars in the main story as our antihero Dwight McCarthy (played by Clive Owen in first film) who is hunted by the only broad he loved Ava Lord (Eva Green) before watching his life sink to the deepest dwellings of life. 2 other stories back up the main story The Long Bad Night we meet Johnny (Joseph Gordon Levitt) a gambler who confronts the wrong opponent loosing more than he bargained for. It couldn’t be a Sin City film without Marv (Mickey Rourke) who finds himself in a spot of bother with another broad!
Technology has drastically improved hopefully the green screen has too, i’ll be honest compared to the first trailer this new one visually looks a little weaker. This is essentially a condensed version of that previous trailer but there is enough new footage to make this worth a look. The one minute trailer actually works fine for this type of film teasing you for more and been sexy most of all violent at the same time.
Sin City: A Dame To Kill For arrives in UK 29th August. The film stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Rosario Dawson Jessica Alba, Josh Brolin, Clive Owen Ray Liotta, Juno Temple, Jiame Chung and Jeremy Piven, and Dennis Haysbert.
