Let’s be honest boys & girls, no matter what they say, it might new cast, slightly different looking robots, but with the same director behind the lens Transformers is the same old same old. However there’s nothing better every once and a while leaving your brain at the box office to enjoy so brainless fun on the big screen Transformers: Age Of Extinction should provide that substance, now enjoy the first footage with the film’s Superbowl TV Spot.
The new spot may not provide any clues to what the plot for the new film is all about , but realistically is what cities, famous landmarks will be destroyed. If however you are of a certain demographic kids in the 1980s(plus many more generations) we’ll (yes I’m one) will be excited to see the dinobots, yes kids you’ll catch them in this spot!
[update 3rd February – Big thanks to Paramount UK who have now sent us the UK version of the Transformers:Age of Extinction spot]
It’s a short but sweet spot in which we get a glimpse of our ‘ funky bunch’ human heroes led by Cade (Mark Whalberg)telling his daughter Tessa (Nicola Peltz)to stick behind him, with boyfriend played by Jack Reynor not far behind. What you really want is Optimus Prime, Grimlock and Slag in a full steam ahead battle!
Transformers: Age Of Extinction will arrive in UK 10th July with Stanley Tucci, Kelsey Grammer, Sophia Myles, Li Bingbing, and Tj Miller co-starring.
