With Sundance Film Festival in USA only weeks away we get a proper look at our film’s hero Rama (Iko Uwais) unleashing the pain on those who cross his path. The Raid2: Berandal picks up a 2 hours after the first film Rama must go deeper into the crime underbelly of The Jakarta criminal underworld to infiltrate the countries crime syndicate. In order to protect his own family Rama must also find the source of the police corruption .
Now are we excited or are we excited? We’re excited!!! This trailer delivers more scope , set scenes a tad operatic but do we care?hell no! This is what we expect from The Raid film! Even though this is the Indonesian trailer it’s also the Sundance Film Festival trailer as next month The Raid 2:Berandal will make it’s world premier so this one does have subtitles, but this one the action does the talking!
The Raid2:Berandal doesn’t have a UK release date confirmed yet but what we’re hearing it maybe the same as US one which is 28th March 2014, There is a possibility the first UK preview maybe Glasgow Film Festival late February. The film also stars Yayan Ruhian, Arifin Putra, Oka Antara, Tio Pakusadewo and Alex Abbad.
