This time of the year is fairly quite on the news front in movieland online so it’s good to get a nice little escape from non stop repeats or those crappy Adam Sandler films they show every year. Next March the Oscars will be upon us and what better escapism than a roundtable discussion with some of Hollywood’s finest, tonight The Los Angeles Times provides the latest video.
As part of the newspapers Envelope Screening Series the new roundtable talk has the cream of the crop, the big contenders for best actors and actress awards. Emma Thompson (Saving Mr. Banks), Forest Whitaker (Lee Daniels’ The Butler), Oscar Isaac (Inside Llewyn Davis), Harrison Ford (42 and 12 Years A Slave) and 12 years a slave stars Chiwetel Ejiofor and Lupita Nyong’o. Hosted by John Horn chatting about the success/if the project would be a success , what attracted them to the project plus plenty of more meaty things to make this video worthwhile.
