Walter Dreams Even More In New The Secret Life of Walter Mitty Trailer

He hasn’t been  anywhere  not worthy of mentionable  but Walter wants you to check his new trailer for The Secret Life of Walter Mitty that show he still dreams and those dreams are big!

Let’s be honest  we all dream of better things when your stuck in the rut of 9-5  we are all like fantasists like Walter (Ben Stiller) live in our own little worlds attempting to make things more exciting. Day in day out living out our dreams, our childhood desires, being  with your crush asking the certain someone out but do we have the nerve?

In the The Secret Life of Walter Mitty Walter is a mild mannered magazine worker who dreams all day about what life maybe like with that pretty co-worker (Kristen Wiig) he dare ask out but can’t. When his employers are faced with a downsizing  Walter must confront embark on a real life adventure.

visually this one is a cracker and with Awards season creeping slowly up on us The Secret Life of Walter Mitty  should be one of the big main contenders in cinematography. The fantasy and visual element does remind me alot of Michel Gondry films as if both fantasy & reality are as one. The passion from Ben Stiller is clearly creeping trough in this trailer and the chemistry with Wiig  does look second to none. Whilst been in a modern setting this film does look like it will deliver the respect to the original 1947 Danny Kaye version and hopefully deliver something sweet, entertaining most of all  pure escapism this Christmas.

Check out the set of posters which show Walter in a fantasist locations…

In his secret life, Walter Mitty (Ben Stiller) dreams big…really, really big. There’s no challenge beyond his grasp, be it climbing a massive glacier or rescuing a senior citizen from an exploding building. When he’s not daydreaming, the not-so-secret life of Walter Mitty is the opposite of his heroic alter-ego’s; he’s just an everyday guy facing imminent career downsizing, who’s too timid to ask out his pretty co-worker (Kristen Wiig). But when Walter faces his ultimate real-world test, he springs into action on a global adventure exceeding anything even he could have dreamed of.
