A few days ago the promotion of Peter Jackson‘s The Hobbit:The Desolation of Smaug officially kicked of with an image of Tauriel (Evangeline Lilly) and this afternoon we kick off with the film’s first teaser poster.
The poster shows our Hobbiton hero Bilbo (Martin Freeman) arriving at the ancestral home of the Dwarves the location of the epic adventure he is in with the Dwarves and Gandalf. Getting there was the easy part it’s getting inside and reclaiming home is going to be the hard part all thanks to Smaug. On the poster we see Bilbo trying to decide what’s the best way to get into Lonely Mountain and get Smaug the Dragon (voiced by Khan himself Benedict Cumberbatch). As there’s still one film to come after this one our notion is our heroes don’t realise it wont be easy getting the dragon out of gold filled nest and when they do he won’t be a happy chappy!
When we posted the recent last Man Of Steel trailer online we told you The Hobbit:The Desolation Of Smaug trailer will be previewed in front of Krypton’s finest Son’s film this week. You’ll be glad to hear that you don’t have to wait that long as tomorrow Tuesday 11th June the trailer will be premiered online around 5/6pm GMT. The question is will we get a better glimpse a Smaug the dragon or will everything be held back to the film or later trailer? All will be revealed tomorrow, saty tuned!
The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug will be released in UK, Ireland and USA 13th December 2013. The film will star a plethora of stars including Richard Armitage, Ian McKellan and Cate Blanchett.
