Will their ever be a new leader in Young Adult film franchises? Will The Mortal Instruments:City Of Bones be that film to the gap? Many have tried and failed, but maybe we’ve The Mortal Instruments will succeed watch new second trailer.
Lily Collins has said goodbye to her dwarves from Mirror Mirror to play Clara Fray our overhasty heroine who finds herself in the wrong place wrong time in Pandemonium Club New York a witness to a bizarre murder. Strangely the body disappears and the tattooed killers are Shadow hunters half angel demon hunters in which Clara is one herself who keep earth free of demons killing the humans. Before she could say Carl Kolchak Nightstalker (soonn to be played by Johnny Depp) Clara finds herself dragged into the dangerous world which is full of more nasty cretins.
With so many challengers to the Young Adult crown the view of who could succeed is very blurred as majority of them are the same old same old. The Mortal Instruments does have the advantage of a charming storyline and snazzy soundtrack which includes Radiohead however how different overall can this film be will be it’s biggest challenge.
