Everything Is Getting Worse In Evil Dead’s First TV Spots

Jane Levy in TriStar Pictures' horror EVIL DEAD.

With The matter of days until the world premier of Fede Alvarez‘s Evil Dead reboot at SXSW film festival and tonight  we get the first two TV Spots and you’ll see everything is getting worse!

In the Evil Dead reboot We meet  five twenty-something friends who head off to  a remote cabin to help Friend get some R&R. Whilst there they discover the Book of the Dead and  unwittingly summon up dormant demons living in the nearby woods, which possess the youngsters in succession until only one is left intact to fight for survival.

The first TV Spot is an ‘fan reaction’ spot which really doesn’t show much footage apart from fans reaction to the Red Band Trailer, the trailer which is the clearest indication that this could be scarier than the original. The second TV spot is the standard 30 plus seconds delivering some fresh new scares and the fact that everyone in the cabin are releasing things are getting worse for them all! At last month’s Film4 Glasgow Frightfest just after Eli Roth introduced the Last Exorcism 2 trailer we where treated to a European premier of new unseen footage and the overall reaction as amazing, a seal of approval by Frightfesters is a big thing!

Evil Dead will be coming to get you on 19th April (USA 5th April) with the film starring  Jane Levy, Shiloh Fernandez, Lou Taylor Pucci, Jessica Lucas and Elizabeth Blackmore.
