James McAvoy fans will be looking forward to March as they have 2 films which stars their favourite actor, Danny Boyle’s Trance and this one Welcome To The Punch, we have a new clip as well as TV Spot to feast your eyes on.

If your a cop determined to get your hands the criminal mastermind you’ve been after for a very long time would you do anything to get him? Would you go as far as using that mastermind’s hospitalized son as leverage? In the  Welcome To The Punch new clip we see Max Lewinsky (McAvoy) plea for his boss (David Morrissey) to let him try  but will Jacob Sternwood (Mark Strong) fall for the trap ? The TV Spot does have the new tidbot of new footage making it worth while look, so will Welcome To The Punch help Eran Creevy become UK’s answer to Michael Mann? What we’ve seen from this film’s footage he could just well be as this has the flair and style of a typical high octaine Hollywood thriller.

Welcome To The Punch is set to be released in UK&Ireland by Momentum Pictures on 15th March however if your in Glasgow this weekend , you can catch the films UK Premier at Glasgow Film Festival 24th February, purchase tickets here. The film also stars Andrea Riseborough, Peter Mullan, Jason Flemyng, Daniel Kaluuya, Daniel Mays and Johnny Harris.

Synopsis

Ex-criminal Jacob Sternwood (Mark Strong) is forced to return to London when his son is involved in a heist gone wrong. This gives his nemesis, detective Max Lewinsky (James McAvoy), one last chance to catch the man he’s always been after.
