Feel The Heat In Welcome To The Punch UK Trailer

Feel the heat as James McAvoy and Mark Strong go head to head in the first  UK trailer of Welcome To The  Punch.

Welcome To The Punch finds ex-criminal Jacob Sternwood (Strong) forced to return to London when his son is involved in a heist gone wrong.  This gives his nemesis, detective Max Lewinsky (McAvoy), one last chance to catch the man he’s always been after. As the two enemies hurtle towards an unavoidable face off, they start to uncover a deeper conspiracy they both need to solve in order to survive.

When we try match Hollywood in gritty thriller we do seem fail miserably however occasionally we exhale and Welcome To The Punch might just be one of those rarities. The trailer looks solid enough probably thanks to The late Tony Scott and Ridley Scott taking the director Eran Creevy their delivering that’s something that looks, feels nothing like a typical UK thriller. Welcome To The Punch does seem to have more action, it looks ambitious, very stylish, big Michael Mann feel to it and with a who’s who of British film  should help the film appeal both sides of the Atlantic.

Welcome To The Punch co-stars Andrea Riseborough, David Morrissey, Peter Mullan, Jason Flemyng, Daniel Kaluuya, Daniel Mays andJohnny Harris. Despite this been the UK trailer we don’t actually have a release date yet but  (15th) March 2013 is looking a good possibility

*update 12th December, a big thanks to Momentum Pictures for sending us this trailer*
