‘They’re Coming!’ Watch The First Official World War Z Trailer!

After many troubled  months of re-shoots, re-writes, so much speculation finally first full official trailer for Max Brooks film adaptation of World War Z and finally now we can start evaluate what Marc Forster has actually made. Brad Pitt stars as Gerry Lane an UN Ambassador who travels the world in a race against time to stop the Zombie pandemic threatening to decimate humanity at terrifying pace.

After the brief footage we saw from World War Z earlier in the week the trailer does paint the film in a better light but with this film on ‘loosely based on Brooks novel ‘is this really the film hardcore fans have been waiting for? As for the zombies  you still don’t get a close look apart from one scene (don’t blink or you’ll miss ) on the roof which shows these walkers are not Romero style zombies but ones closer to Synder’s zombies maybe a little 28 Days Later style. This really is just a teaser trailer hopefully in future trailers we do get to see a little more of the immediate  danger Pitt and co find themselves in as well as a better look at our zombies. Overall we do get a glimpse that this pandemic is global which gets the adrenalin flowing and despite the problems we do potentially  a epic zombi-tastic summer blockbuster to look forward to next year!

Co-starring Mirielle Enos, Bryan Cranston, Matthew Fox, James Badge Dale, Elyes Gabel and David Morse World War Z will be spreading the zombie pandemic at a cinema near you on 21st June 2013.

The story revolves around United Nations employee Gerry Lane (Pitt), who traverses the world in a race against time to stop the Zombie pandemic that is toppling armies and governments and threatening to decimate humanity itself.  Enos plays Gerry’s wife Karen Lane; Kertesz is his comrade in arms, Segen.
