He maybe closer to the big 6-0 than 3-0 but film studios seem to still appreciate Liam Neeson and his particular set of skills and The Wrap are reporting the Irish actor is about to add another crime thriller to his filmography.
The report is saying Neeson is in talks to star in All Nighter (also known as Run All Night) a story of a ageing hit man who must turn on his boss in order to protect his family finding himself been chased by not just the mob but also the cops.
All Nighter has been in development for over a year and now with negotiations now under way for the films lead star things may start to move to some sort of start in production. Warner Bros will be releasing the film since they got their hands on Brad Ingelsby Out Of Furnace with Roy Lee one of the industries most prolific producers will produce under his Vertigo Entertainment banner, no director has been connected at this point.
This isn’t a Taken rip off nor a Hangover comedy but despite the terrible Taken 2 we do hope he doesn’t branch out of the thriller genre though we do love him in The Grey. Liam Neeson is currently filming Paul Haggis Third Person, he’ll re-team with Unknown director Jaume Collet-Serra for airplane thriller Non-Stop. He also has Scott Frank’s A walk Among Tombstones and now has just signed to voice a character in the newly announced Lego film.
