3 years ago Todd Phillips brought us the first The Hangover, delivering a new brand of raunchy comedy inspiring a number similar style comedies. Next summer the third and final The Hangover film will be released but before then the writers of the franchise will deliver their directorial debut 21&Over, which is The Hangover University style, now check out the official first trailer.

Starring Justin Chon (Twilight)  alongside Skylar Astin (Pitch Perfect), and Miles Teller (Footloose). 21&Over tells the story of Jeff Chang (Chon) who on the eve of his medical school interview runs into his 2 best friends  Casey (Astin) and Miller (Teller) who decide to help Jeff celebrate his 21st birthday against his fathers strict wishes. What’s meant to be one beer ends up been a night of  humiliation and debauchery!

Since the first The Hangover film we’ve had quite a few similar style films, including the disappointing sequel but Bridesmaids let the world know the girls can get down and dirty as much as the boys with the dreadful  Project X reminds us how over used the genre is. 21&Over  does look predictable however that doesn’t mean to say this one won’t be funny as the trailer shows this one will have it’s moments. You could say this is what Project X  should have been like but then again this is no ordinary party this is Jeff Chang’s party!!!

21&Over doesn’t have a UK&Irish release date just yet, but if your American 1st March 2013 is the date your invited to Jeff’s party that’s Jeff Chang’s Party! 21&Over also stars Sarah Wright, Francois Chau,Jonathan Keltz, Daniel Booko, Dustin Ybarra with Jon Lucas and Scott Moore directing.

Straight-A college student Jeff Chang has always done what’s expected of him. But when his two best friends Casey and Miller surprise him with a visit for his 21st birthday, he decides to do the unexpected for a change, even though his critical medical school interview is early the next morning. What was supposed to be one beer becomes one night of chaos, over indulgence and utter debauchery in this outrageous comedy.
