Universal Soldier Day Of Reckoning Trailer Has Arrived

After the summer of a rare outing on the big screen with The Expendables 2 Messrs Dolph Lundgren, Jean Claude Van Damme return to the grind of Direct to Dvd films with  Universal Solder:The Reckoning  and the full trailer is below. It’s familiar old ground for Lundgren and JCVD a franchise the pair built, great first film but sadly its went downhill and we now have a 4th film JVCD is the villain once more with Lundgren helping him against the film’s hero Scott Adkins out for vengeance for the murder of his wife and child. It’s generic predictable stuff a franchise that should have finished after the second film.

No word on the UK release date, it will be direct to DVD in UK when it comes, Universal Soldier Day of Reckoning will be released on VOD October 25th with November 30th DVD release.

John (Adkins, The Expendables 2) wakes up from a coma to discover his wife and daughter were slaughtered in a brutal home invasion. Haunted by images of the attack, he vows to kill the man responsible, Luc Deveraux (Van Damme). While John tries to piece his reality back together, things get more complicated when he is pursued by a relentless UniSol (Arlovski). As John gets closer to Deveraux and the rouge army of genetically enhanced warriors led by back-from-the-dead leader Andrew Scott (Lundgren), John discovers more about himself and begins to call into question everything he believed to be true.
