White Trash Sweat Fest Called The Paperboy Watch Trailer

When you make a film which touched the hearts of many unexpectedly like Lee Daniels Precious the curiosity and eagerness of film fans to see what Daniels would do next, White Trash Sweat Fest Called The Paperboy Watch Trailer. No not the cool video game kids of the 1980’s used to play on their Spectrum rubber keys or Commodore 64 but a shlock fest Southern crime flick which raised a few eyebrows when it made it’s world première at this years Cannes Film festival. The film certainly created a buzz but not always one of positivity more baffled, confused about what they have just watch and looking at the trailer it does give you that impression on what the film is really all about.

Based on a Peter Dexter novel about Ward James (Matthew McConaughey ) a respected journalist with his brother Jack (Zac Efron) investigate the possible wrongful conviction of a death row inmate (John Cusack) who was accused of killing the town’s sheriff. It might sound a straight up story but bring in White trash honey Charlotte(Nicole Kidman) who likes to ‘play’ with herself in prison and pee on Zac Efron a golden moment for the film, Cusack himself looks like he’s a little cuckoo too. Where critics right to rip this one apart I don’t , until we see it we’ll judge it then, but this does fell like Werner Herzog’s Bad Lieutenant it looks bad but its that good it’ll get a cult following.

No word on a UK&Irish release date however The Paperboy is set for a October 5th release date in USA. The film also stars David Oyelowo, Scott Glenn, Nikolette Noel, and Camille Balsamo.

A directionless young man helps his reporter brother investigate the possible wrongful conviction of a man on death row, and in the process, falls for the woman whom the convict has been romancing through prison correspondence.
