Today we have a new clip named ‘she wrote me a letter’ which starts off with Lancaster Dodd (Hoffman) embarking on one his ‘inspirational speeches’ at what looks like one of the ‘recruitments’ to join dodd’s newly found religion. Eventually the clips Freddy (Joaquin Phoenix) becomes the narrator reading the letter whilst we watch him get friendly with a pretty young woman.
Great news this week The Master will now play at this years Toronto Film Festival after all, one of 21 new films new to this years programme. On The Road, The Paperboy and Spring Break are a few of the other films that were announced this week. Below the clip we have a new poster which was released this week, a blue kaleidoscope poster which has the mugshot of Philip seymour Hoffman , Amy Adams and Joaquin Phoenix posing in a way like one of those propaganda posters of decades gone by, simple but effective.
