“Have You Been Pitch Slapped?” – When you pitch a film that’s been called Glee I would probably wouldn’t waste my time with it.However throw in a film been dubbed as the new Bridesmaids crossed with Glee now that’s a whole new ball game and the film is PITCH PERFECT and below is the new UK trailer!
The film stars Anna Kendrick, as Becca new girl at college who is approached to join the colleges capella group who reluctantly joins after been found singing in the shower. Soon enough Becca is changing the groups arrangements, raising the game and soon enough they are challenging for the Capella signing ultimate prize.
To be dubbed a bridesmaid style of film there has to be some level of crudeness unexpected from the cast, let’s say not ‘lady like’, Pitch Perfect does show potential that it may reach that level. Until a red band trailer arrives this one looks like it has a few fun moments in it, showing off that Rebel Wilson (yes she was the annoying flat mate of Kristen Wiig in Bridesmaids) maybe the one to provide those moments that made Bridesmaids funny, work in progress.
Pitch Perfect also stars Brittany Snow, Anna Camp, Rebel Wilson, Alexis Knapp, Adam DeVine, Freddie Stroma, Elizabeth Banks and will be released in UK&Ireland October 24th (USA October 5th)
*update 18th June 2010 – A big thanks to Universal Pictures UK who have sent us the UK version of the trailer to host ourselves*

beca (Anna Kendrick) is that girl who’d rather listen to what’s coming out of her headphones than what’s coming out of you. Arriving at her new college, she finds herself not right for any clique but somehow is muscled into one that she never would have picked on her own: alongside mean girls, sweet girls and weird girls whose only thing in common is how good they sound when they sing together, in the new out-loud comedy Pitch Perfect.
When Beca takes this acoustic singing group out of their world of traditional arrangements and perfect harmonies into all-new mash-ups, they fight to climb their way to the top of the cutthroat world of college a cappella. This could wind up either the coolest thing they’ll ever do or the most insane, and it will probably be a little of both.
Loaded with new takes on old favorites to hits of right now that are seamlessly mixed together, mashed-up and arranged like you’ve never heard before, Pitch Perfect is directed by Jason Moore, who opened our eyes to the very misbehaved life of puppets in the surprise Broadway sensation Avenue Q.
