Jean Dujardin To Join Martin Scorsese’s THE WOLF OF WALL STREET?

No matter what country you come from or even if your based in Hollywood soon as you get the Oscar nomination the big boys of the film industry will be fighting to hire your services in a upcoming project.This year’s Oscars where all about The Artist and the film’s lead Jean Dujardin winning best actor and it’s no surprise that the news coming out of Tinseltown that the French actor is in talks to star in Martin Scorsese’s THE WOLF OF WALL STREET.

The cast is looking very impressive with Leonardo Di Caprio ,Jonah Hill and Kyle Chandler already connected with the film based on a script written by Broadwalk Empire scribe Terrence Winter.

Di Caprio is set to play the film’s lead role Jordan Belfort a Wall Street stockbroker who spent the 1990’s going from one high brow party to another whilst enjoying excessive drinking and drug taking. All came to an end in 1998 when Belfort was arrested and jailed for security fraud as well as money laundering, the film will be based on Belfort’s memoirs.

If Dujardin signs on to star in this film he will play Jean-Jacques Handali a Swiss banker who helps Belfort in “cleaning” illicit money, Jonah Hill will play Belfort’s partner and friend with Chandler the FBI agent brings the whole scam to a shutdown. This film will only cement the French actor’s stature in Hollywood as one of the A-listers with the great cast and the iconic legendary director behind the lens The Wolf Of Wall Street will be one of the must see films of 2013.
