Tomorrow David Cronenberg’s Cosmopolis will finally arrive in UK&Ireland which many are calling a game changer for one Robert Pattinson who is hoping to get away from The Twilight Saga baggage. The film also marks the return (and hopefully to form) of Canada’s finest film maker Cronenberg back to a style of film that made him famous dark, surreal, complex but damn entertaining .
Cosmopolis stars Pattinson as Eric Packer a limo loving millionaire who goes out to get a haircut in Manhattan but what starts as a simple task becomes crazy journey of sex, drugs, shooting hands, giant rats and possible end of the world.
Totalfilm caught up with Cronenberg and Pattinson to have a chat about the film, working with each other, working in franchises and what superhero you would love to play. Unfortunately we weren’t offered a preview so unable to offer a opinion on the film however we’re hoping to have a review online over the weekend. Cosmopolis also stars Sarah Gadon, Kevin Durand, Jay Baruchel, Samantha Morton, Juliette Binoche, Paul Giamatti, and Mathieu Amalric
