Watch END OF WATCH Trailer Starring Jake Gyllenhaal

David Ayer hasn’t been blessed by an array of films that have set the box office on fire with scripted Training Day, Dark Blue, S.W.A.T and he’ll be hoping his latest film which he’s directed hopefully change things.Tonight the trailer END OF WATCH has arrived online film starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Michael Pena with Anna Kendrick, America Ferrera, Frank Grillo, and Natalie Martinez making up the rest of the cast. When we associate found footage films it usually tends to be horror or science fiction themed films but now we have a found footage police film! The film follows  2 cops (Gyllenhaal & Pena) who are best of friends but also partners on duty both dream becoming detectives  but end up stumbling on to drug cartel attempting to handle something that too big for the pair. The found footage  added to any film these days is a big no no for alot of film fans these days however Ayers is in his comfort zone with cop dramas and its worth a look at least especially with Jake Gyllenhaal in it, looks promising.

No release date set for UK just yet but End Of Watch is out Stateside 28 September.

A powerful story of family, friendship, love, honor and courage, End Of Watch stars Academy Award nominee Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Peña as young Los Angeles police officers Taylor and Zavala as they patrol the city’s meanest streets of south central Los Angeles.

Giving the story a gripping, first-person immediacy, the action unfolds entirely through footage from the handheld HD cameras of the police officers, gang members, surveillance cameras, and citizens caught in the line of fire to create a riveting portrait of the city’s darkest, most violent corners, the cops who risk their lives there every day, and the price they and their families are forced to pay.
