After the tragic events in USA involving the killing of a young Black teenager The Watch nearly stalled but now it’s had a name change from The Neighbourhood Watch, had a red band trailer. Things are finally moving for the film and tonight we have a second trailer, a green band trailer for THE WATCH which you can enjoy below.
The Watch comes from the Hot Rod director Akiva Schaffer starring Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, Jonah Hill and Richard Ayoade with the the foursome play suburban dads who create a neighbourhood watch group not just to protect their streets but also to get away from the families too, only to discover a conspiracy plot against Earth.
This has a few new bits of footage however this is essentially the red band trailer from a few weeks ago but more importantly we get a glimpse of the aliens. Last year The American cinephiles really embraced Attack The Block it did well everywhere though the film but best stateside and looking at this trailer as well as previous trailers The Watch certainly looks like its been packaged as the American Attack The Block.
The Watch also stars Billy Crudup, Will Forte, Rosemarie DeWitt, and Nicholas Braun. with the film arrving in UK&Ireland August 29th.
