Last night Prometheus let loose their ‘kraken’ in an awesome extended 3 minute UK trailer during Channel 4’s Homeland episode, cementing their intentions to be the number one summer blockbuster this year. Questions have been asked about the other bigger films, Amazing Spiderman has been busy in periods however the film that people are crying to see more of is The Dark Knight Rises which seems to have went into hibernation in the batcave. Fear not Batman fans especially American ones as you wait eagerly for this weeks release of The Avengers Stateside will see the anticipated release of a new The Dark Knight Rises trailer in front of Avengers but a viral marketing campaign has now launched to mark the occasion.
When you head to TheDarkKnightRises.com you are greeted by a number images which make up a case file for the caped crusader and when you read it he’s down for the murder of Harvey Dent as well as 6 police officers but we all know the right truth! The Gotham City Police Department needs your help in the investigate to track down Batman and you’ll see there is a number of locations including several UK ones in London, Birmingham, Liverpool, Leeds and Manchester. Fans can go out and search those locations of evidence of the Caped Crusaders whereabouts snapping away at any evidence

Those emails are the films twitter account and as for the rewards we don’t know exactly what they’ll be but just thinking about what they could be are making The Peoples Movies HQ jealous! We’re still trying to figure what date is Harvey Dent Day as that’s the day you must have your evidence in for. It’s great to see The Dark Knight Rises finally starting to move up a gear and hopefully last night’s Prometheus trailer is the catalyst for The Dark Knight to start moving, as for when here in the uk we’ll see the trailer hopefully this week we’ll find out possibly in front of another film but more likely online so stay tuned here at The Peoples Movies for that!
