Time Travelling Fries Your Brain Like A Egg, Rian Johnson’s LOOPER Gets Full Trailer

After Tuesday’s Teaser of A teaser I decided in the mortal words of the Grange Hill cast “Just Say No!” and decided one teaser of a upcoming teaser trailer was enough teasing to leave the teasing upto to the real mcCoy with the full trailer and tonight Rian Johnson‘s LOOPER.

Looper is set in a future where time travelling is possible with Joseph Gordon Levitt plays Joe a hired gun or ‘Looper’ hitmen or women who travel back in time to where travelling was not possible and execute their targets. When Joe receives a new target he has the task to killing his olderself,Bruce Willis roll on the cat& mouse chase, guns, explosions and action.

Everything looks well constructed one that looks like it will have a mixture of wit and humour with an intriguing twist to the plot playing on the old law of science fiction films with time travelling not interfering  with one’s self in the future or the past. The trailer is a good starting block for the film hopefully this trailer hasn’t spoiled the broth and that Johnson has kept the good bits for the film which happens to be arriving in UK, Ireland and USA September 28th.

Time travel will be invented, but it will be illegal and only available on the black market. When the mob wants to get rid of someone, they send their target 30 years into the past, where a “looper”—a hired gun, like Joe (Joseph Gordon-Levitt)—is waiting to mop up. Joe is getting rich and life is good. . . until the day the mob decides to “close the loop,” sending back Joe’s future self (Bruce Willis) for assassination. the film is written and directed by Rian Johnson and also stars Emily Blunt, Paul Dano, and Jeff Daniels. Ram Bergman and James D. Stern produce.
