Woody Allen’s Next Directoral Gig Will take Him To Denmark

Last weeks news that Woody Allen was stepping in front of the camera instead of his usual behind the camera for Fading Gigolo (directed, starring John Tuturro)  Before then he make a small role as well as direct Nero Fiddled . The film is to star Alec Baldwin, Jesse Eisenberg, Ellen Page, Roberto Benigni, Penélope Cruz a film which has been  filmed in Rome, the second film Allen has been involved in Europe and now looks like he’ll be involved in third film in the continent.

As Europe has inspired much of Allen’s previous works, it will be the setting for his next directorial work  with Denmark and Copenhagen according to THR. The report states the project is in early stages so details on what the film are very scarce however what we do know is that  frequent producer Letty Aronson is in talks with Danish Per Holst in bringing the film to the Danish capital. Previously the word was that the film may go to Munich German to shoot though we wont count out the Bavarian city just yet as it could be a dual located film and with the film not going to start shooting until 2013 things can change drastically especially if finances. There was also talk of possibly heading the other way to the other side of the world to South America and to Rio De Janiero following Fast Five as well as Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn Part 1 but no one really knows what city the untitled film may be filmed in. If Woody Allen takes the year out break he’s been promising himself for a while we maybe still waiting this time next year!
