Appetite For Destruction – A New Explosive UK Trailer For BATTLESHIP

You might think it’s crazy I regard myself as a cinephile but I’ve never seen Peter Berg’s Hancock and what I’ve heard from people who have I’ve not missed much however 5 years on the actor turn director’s follow up film BATTLESHIP I will be going to see! Universal Pictures have this afternoon have unleashed a brand new explosive UK trailer via YahooUK and if you have an appetite for destruction( watch Hong Kong been flattened!), explosions all round chaos you’ll just love this new full trailer.

This new one does have alot of footage we have seen before however we do get alot of new stuff and evidence that the battle with the aliens does go on land which could mean  probably likely a sequel will be on the cards. This new trailer also focuses more on the aliens, you’ll even get to hear a little of Rihanna acting a line or two out  but most of all this trailer proves how close to Transformers Battleship really is!To be we don’t really care about the similarities  Battleship is to its Hasbro buddies, this ridiculously cheesy fun flick as we do need to dumb down every so often.

The Invasion will start April 11th in UK&Ireland with USA getting it May 18th. BATTLESHIP stars Taylor Kitsch, Liam Neeson, Brooklyn Deker, Alexander Skarsgård, Josh Pence, Rihanna, Jesse Plemons, Peter MacNicol, Tadanobu Asano.

Peter Berg (Hancock) produces and directs Battleship, an epic action-adventure that unfolds across the seas, in the skies and over land as our planet fights for survival against a superior force. Based on Hasbro’s classic naval combat game, Battleship stars Taylor Kitsch as Lt. Alex Hopper, a Naval officer assigned to the USS John Paul Jones; Brooklyn Decker as Sam Shane, a physical therapist and Hopper’s fiancée; Alexander Skarsgard as Hopper’s older brother, Stone, Commanding Officer of the USS Sampson; Rihanna as Petty Officer Raikes, Hopper’s crewmate and a weapons specialist on the USS John Paul Jones; and international superstar Liam Neeson as Hopper and Stone’s superior (and Sam’s father), Admiral Shane.

*UPDATE – 16th March We’ve been sent our own copy of the UK trailer from Universal Pictures, thanks guys!*
