Yesterday I was so looking forward to watching Belgian Horror Livid at Glasgow Film Festival only to find the film was cancelled ruining my day however with Cineworld card in hand I went watched another film (sadly a 3D one). One of the trailers was WRATH OF TITANS and my glimmer of hope I’ve been holding onto that one day I may see a film worthy of its 3D disappeared (buried by the time the film I was watching finished!). However the actual film Wrath Of Titans does look more action packed alot more exciting compared (& improvement)to the first film and
tonight Yahoo UK have unleashed a Kraken called new trailer!
Warner Bros seem to be taken a more sombre approach compared to the big build up from the 2009 disaster which went all out blazing in PR duties. It’s a more sensible approach not building film fans hopes up, but unfortunately at the moment alot of cinephiles don’t seem to be bothered and this could have slipped out of fans minds until tonight when this new trailer appears 5 weeks before its release. Here at The People’s Movies are all for giving films chances to prove us wrong and let’s hope they’ve learned their lessons, however the worrying factor is, The Wrath of Titans has taken the 3D post conversion route again (why?) but if you want to enjoy Greek mythology at its peak CGI-ed for your viewing pleasure enjoy the film in glorious 2d instead!
Wrath Of The Titans will be unleashed in UK&Ireland on March 30th starring Sam Worthington,Rosamund Pike,Toby Kebell, Ralph Fiennes, Liam Neeson, Rosamund Pike, Danny Huston, Bill Nighy and Matt Milne.
