Superbowl night has finally arrived and we now have the first of the tv spots and Peter Berg‘s BATTLESHIP get the ball rolling tonight and he’s doing his best Michael Bay impression! The 60 second TV Spot does show alot of the previous footage seen in the trailer already gone but what we like about this one is we get some brand new footage especially those Halo looking invaders but are they aliens? We don’t know yet as nothing has been revealed about them and where they come from. Will Hasbro ruin the fun and bring out a range of toys spoiling all those things you just want to be revealed when this one is released? Fingers crossed as Battleship looks the ridiculous silly fun us cinephiles we just love to watch in the Summer.
BATTLESHIP will be out in UK& Ireland April 11 (USA 18 May) starring Taylor Kitsch, Liam Neeson, Brooklyn Deker, Alexander Skarsgård, Josh Pence, Rihanna, Jesse Plemons, Peter MacNicol, Tadanobu Asano.
