Richard Attenborough Film Awards – The Results Announced!!! (updated)

This afternoon The Richard Attenborough Film Awards 2012 where announced in London today. The awards are regional with six coming from film critics and seven from the general public in total 13 categories.

Michel Hazanavicius The Artist won best film with the director picking up best filmmaker but the big winner on the day was Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy picking up 3 trophies including best British film and best British actor in Gary Oldman in the public vote. One of the public categories was best film blog and The People’s Movies was nominated and we were honoured to be nominated and we like to congratulate  the guys at CineVue who won the honours, well done chaps and thanks to all who voted for us!
