HAPPY 2012 All! On behalf of the team at The Peoples Movies and Cinehouse we would like to wish all our readers, friends, family, fellow bloggers a great new year and we hope this new year will be a prosperous, happy and better year than last. We thank you for your support, reading  this sites, sharing the posts within the social media sites, entering the competitions and there’s a few competitions starting tomorrow including one for American The Peoples Movies readers (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy), For UK & Irish readers its Win Family passes For The Muppet’s  preview screening and Studio Ghbili’s Whisper of The Heart! There’s still time to enter Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes Signed poster, Arrietty on DVD and Devil’s Double DVD.

Here’s hoping 2012 filmwise  will be a spectacular one from Joss Whedon’s The Avengers, Cabin In The Woods, Return of Ridley Scott with his Alien Prequel DNA Horror Sci-Fi Prometheus, Suzanne Collins The Hunger Games, Christopher Nolan’s Batman Swan song The Dark Knight Rises. This year sees the return of the webslinger with Amazing Spiderman, Before then John Carter of Mars will grace our screens . James Bond will finally arrive later in the year with Skyfall the long awaited James Bond 23 and next Christmas (Sir) Peter Jackson brings the magic of JR Tolkien back to the big screen with The Hobbit:An Unexpected Journey. We must n’t forget next month see’s the long awaited return of The Muppets to the big screen which we know now will be a good one and the same weekend we will be laughing then having plenty of brown trouser moments when Daniel Radcliffe’s The Woman In The Black gothic chiller will be out.

I’ve just touched base on a few of the great films we will see this year, fingers crossed the diversity of 2012 will be strong and wont be another year of big build ups, ending with disappointing outcomes. As for The People’s Movies & Cinehouse for 2012, it’s hard to say but myself and the rest the fantastic hard working film fans we will do our best give you as much as we possibly can for, but you also can get involved in the fun as we’re constantly looking for more people to get involved, if your up for some fun click here for more info. We are a passionate bunch of cinephiles and 2011 proved a great year for us as we were nominated for Totalfilm’s 2011 film blog of the year and more recently for Richard Attenborough film blog of the year which you can support us at here voting for us!
