UK Trailer For Madonna’s W.E

Studio Canal have revealed the official UK trailer for Madonna’s time splitting romantic drama W.E. As in achievements in music she done it all, been there done that, done the book plus plenty t-shirts but her film career hasn’t has the rub of the green. The acting side of things more positive in her early days with Desperately Seeking Susan, Evita but slippery appeared with Body Of Evidence, League Of Their Own, Who’s That Girl and even her ex-husband Guy Ritchie nearly wiped her with acting existence with the dreadful Swept Away.

W.E her latest directorial effort premièred during the Venice Film festival then London leaving both festivals highly criticised with mixed reviews however what many reports forgot to mention it was more positive than negative. You could argue the criticism was a little unfair and it’s lead to believe Madonna has been spending hours in the editing suite to re-cut the film in time for it’s January release, what we do know is she has recorded a new song ‘masterpiece’ with William Orbit which will be part of the film.

W.E is a story of 2 intertwining love stories one of the most scandalous affairs of British Royality the love affair between King Edward VIII and Wallis Simpson, which led to the royal’s abdication. The second love story sent in 1998 involving a woman Wally Winthrop who has her own problems to deal with whilst having a obsession with the Duchess of Windsor.

W.E stars Abbie Cornish, Oscar Isaac, Andrea Riseborough and James D’arcy with the film arriving in UK on January 20th 2012.
