Ridley Scott’s PROMETHEUS Trailer Arrives!

Ladies and Gentlemen, Cinephiles worldwide behold the film that’s not supposed to be that prequel but cant help looking like it visually PROMETHEUS receives its first trailer! Twentieth Century Fox have unleashed a 70 second teaser which is nothing more than fantastic!! teasers are meant to just tease and trailers are meant to give us a little more and Ridley Scott’s Prometheus does tease! Don’t expect to see much on the characters but setting the mood of the film which just looks and feels spine-chilling. The music really builds the tension reminds me a little of the music in the Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy trailer layer by layer note by note it builds up, this is a large scale big time blockbuster the ones we want to see in the summer as well as all year around. From start to finish this trailer reveals all the images, clues we have had on the film, Noomi Rapace is the person been blown away, the big head mentioned in early interviews but most of all the connections to the Alien franchise are throughout this trailer for everyone to see.

It’s great seeing great film makers leave there comfort zones and attempt to explore new genres, technologies (Martin Scorese, Hugo) but there’s nothing better fulfilling than seeing a great film maker go back to a genre we love , adore them in so its brilliant to see Ridley Scott back in Sci-fi Horror, role on June 1st 2012 (USA is June 8th) in UK&Ireland! PROMETHEUS stars Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron, Idris Elba, Sean Harris, Kate Dickie, Guy Pearce, Rafe Spall and Logan Marshall-Green.
