I’ve actually lost track of how long we’ve had to wait for this film to finally produce some footage, it must be at least 3 years but finally Lionsgate (not the original distributor) have finally released the official trailer for THE CABIN IN THE WOODS! Drew Goddard’s Joss Whedon produced film stars virtually a cast of unknowns was meant to be a certain Aussie actors introduction to Hollywood Chris Hemsworth who we know now as Thor or to British/Irish fans as Kym from Home&Away. When you watch the trailer you can now see why we had virtually no info on the plot as this ‘horror’ flick is no ordinary horror film and now understand why as Goddard& Whedon have thrown the Horror rulebook out the window. There is one big twist in this as in Horror’s so if you want to see this on clean whim maybe suggest if you don’t watch this however if you do it’s suggesting something a little more sci-fi crossed with something out of Hostel but all together a little confusing but not in a negative way.
April is turning out to be Wheedon month with 27th April been the date of The Avengers live action flick and now The Cabin In The Woods coming out on all days Friday 13th April in UK&Ireland and USA! The film stars also Kristen Connolly, Anna Hutchinson, Fran Kanz, Jesse Williams, Bradley Whitford, and Richard Jenkins.
