“Who Is Blowing Who?” New (UK?) Trailer For 21 Jump Street Starring Channing Tatum & Jonah Hill

If I was to be honest right up to the first trailer I honestly never heard of 21 Jump Street, even though it starred one of the world now biggest film stars Johnny Depp then he wasn’t. It may have been one of those tv programmes Channel 4 had a habit of showing at obscure hours of the day or filler shows, during the School summer holidays but ow twenty years on we have the film version coming our way in March.
Via our UK compadres Digital Spy we have a new trailer which I think we can say is the UK version of the trailer, though there’s no suggestion it is apart from the source. The new one showcases Slimline Jonah Hill, Channing Tatum showing off their action reflexes though very similar to the films first trailer but there is new footage there with the Slow motion dives, action, gun slinging which would bring a smile even to Michael Bay but not big robots! This is a comedy but not in the sense of laugh out loud style though I’m sure there will be a few in there, most of all we do see enough promise to check this one out or at least check out future footage.

Below the trailer we do have a new poster which shows the boys in their white tux’s  ready for action, a poster that comes with a ‘risque’ tagline line of  “The only thing getting blown tonight is their cover”. that one is right up there with the infamous Yogi Bear tagline of “Great Things Come In Bears” but the big difference is 21 Jump Street that tagline connects more with the target audience!

21 Jump Street also stars Ice Cube, Dave Franco,Ellie Kemper, Brie Larsen, and Rob Riggle and will be coming to a cinema near you in UK&Ireland March 16th, 2011.

In the action-comedy 21 Jump Street, Schmidt (Jonah Hill) and Jenko (Channing Tatum) are more than ready to leave their adolescent problems behind. Joining the police force and the secret Jump Street unit, they use their youthful appearances to go undercover in a local high school. As they trade in their guns and badges for backpacks, Schmidt and Jenko risk their lives to investigate a violent and dangerous drug ring. But they find that high school is nothing like they left it just a few years earlier and neither expects that they will have to confront the terror and anxiety of being a teenager again and all the issues they thought they had left behind.
