Unless your support one of bully   English Premiership big boys chances of your team even playing in Europe is a extra bonus and for the sake of my own team through the back door meaning a Scottish team in Europe after August! There was a time Celtic, Leeds, Manchester United and the team of this film Liverpool ruled the waves in Europe during 1960’s, 1970’s and getting to the final of Europe’s elite club competition was a norm for these teams and for today’s fans getting to the final is sometimes once in a lifetime occasion and for Will Brennan 2005 final was a must!

Vertigo Films have sent us the new second trailer for WILL starring Perry EggletonDamian Lewis (Band of Brothers, and Showtime’s upcoming Homeland)Bob Hoskins (A Christmas Carol, Who Framed Roger Rabbit) and Alice Krige (Chariots of FireStar Trek: First Contact).11 year old Will is Liverpool FC’s greatest fan life is turned upside down when his long-absent father (Damian Lewis) reappears with tickets to the 2005 Champions League Final in Istanbul. But when fate intervenes, Will runs away to Istanbul for the biggest soccer match of the year, searching for meaning in a world that seems to have abandoned him.

In 2003 when Celtic reached the final of the Uefa Cup(now Europa League)  in my generation I never imagined to ever see my Beloved Hoops reach a European final (been a Ranger’s fan would have been a nightmare though 3 years later it was their teams turn), so the story of Will I can relate to. When it comes to footballers and acting is like working with children and animals rarely do they work right,  Will features cameos by Liverpool Football Club manager Kenny Dalglish, and superstar footballers Jamie Carragher  and  Steven Gerrard whose acting ability is nowhere near their football ability cheesy but fun for the movie.

Check out the new trailer below along with new poster for the film which is now been released on November 4th in UK&Ireland.
